Little mermaid girl and her best friend mr.clam

This is little Miss mermaid who was waiting for a long time in the closet. When Mr. clam was finished last week and placed in the closet next to Miss Mermaid, they suddenly became a perfect match, and a couple of hours later I realised that Miss Mermaid was leaning on Mr. Clam, and now they are best friends, not separatable at all. So they are looking for a home who will adopt both of them.

earlier small gurumi's

Hi all,

Here are a bunch of the earlier gurumis I have crocheted. Actually these are the first amigurumis I made, and I remember how amazed I was when I saw the yarn turned out to be such a cute toy. It won't be exaggeration to say that I felt like master Gepetto who has made Pinnochio. Since the first amigurumi (it was the roly poly penguin) I realised how endless the possibilities with this art and that is amazing. Lately I have been working on some geekerty projects like the wow stuff and star wars and planning to make some stuff from my Demir's favourite nintendo game Mario.

Bedtime buddy, sleeping lamb..

Meet Morris, the most popular bedtime buddy at our household. He is so cute with his real sheep wool body and embroidery sleeping face. He is safre to sleep with too since he does not include small parts. One has gone to my Etsy shop already.

Yummy cupcakes!

Here are a bunch of yummy cupcakes! They were super easy and fun to make and they turned out to be the cutest thing I have ever made, I want to make a cupcake army, somebody gotto stop me!

Oh my god! Kenny is dead!!!

Here is the latest project I was working on for a while, these guys are really quite small around 10 cm standing,so the whole gang is abe to stand as a desk buddy which I like seeing while working:)

Home is where your heartstone is...

I had to make something about World of Warcraft after spending a couple of years of my life into it:) And made these keychains for 2 of my guildmates from Wow:)

Sesame street forever!

Here is my version of Abby Cadabby from Sesame street, I made her thanks to the custom order of Wendy, and liked her so much that I immediately made one more to accompany Elmo!

Fat King's costume

Crown and staff is crocheted, and there are jewel appliques on the crown made of  80's  weird earrings from grandma's stash!

I just realised that I haven't posted much lately, the reason is mainly I spent quite a lot of time crocheting some custom orders, trying an mmo game (AION) and preparing this costume for my Demir's school show, I am very proud to say that it cost me almost nothing except from time but I really enjoyed the timee spent on it, and he really liked seeing me working on this every night!

Bunny girl in pretty dress

This adorable bunny girl was waiting in my craft basket with a missing ear for a while, finally I had time to finish her last night. She likes to stand and watch around with startled big eyes, and I love watching her too so I placed her just next to TV :)

Sackboy !!!

The first commenter on my blog was asking if I could make a Sackboy. And it was on my mind since then, try to make a Sackboy, I saw the little guy first my husband realised him on one of his gaming magazines and he showed me saying''look he looks like the things (!!!) you make. (He wasn't able to remember the word ''amigurumi'' at that times:) And I started looking for a pattern for Sackboy, but I wanted him to have a real zipper so that he can carry around some lil things like coins or keys for his human  friend. The only pattern I found with the zipper was on youtube but it was quite huge and I don't fancy very big gurumis. So as usual I ended up with making up my own pattern, and I am very happy about how he looks, I hope you like it too, I can post the pattern here if I manage to write it down.

So Sweet Snails!

I haven't posted for a while since I was quite busy crocheting a lot of projects at the same time, while finishing the spring wreath, and these snails; had to make a king's crown for my elder boy's school show (I will post some pictures soon ) and there is a white bunny in a sweet dress still missing one ear and the sweet dress! And there is a sackboy sitting on my laptop with a missing arm and leg! I realized that they might take longer time then I planned so decided to shoot some pictures of the finished ones, and here are the So Sweet Snails with the pattern of Marta from http://stokrotkidwie.blogspot.com/search/label/szyde%C5%82ko%2Fcrochet

Welcome spring!

Welcome spring! We have been waiting for you, it was a very cold winter even for our beautiful warm town Marmaris! Although I am a winter person, our house was so cold and we all got so much ill this year that, I am so glad that finally spring is here and brought along the warm days back! Hotels already filled in the pools and claimed it summer but I don't have any intentions to let the spring pass so quickly... So I made a wreath to celebrate your arrival Spring! It makes me happy everyday when I reach my door and soothes my ' not finding my keys in my deeep bags panic'. I hope you like it too...

Woot! I opened a shop!

I still can't believe myself, but I did it. Well my gurumis were getting slowly flooding out of the drawers and cupboards, and everyone was asking me what I was planning to do with them. I had no idea to be honest, I just love making them and I never thought about what to do with them afterwards, I love creating them, playing with them, and giving them as presents. But I am a fast crocheter and my space for the gurumis in my house is unfortunately limited. So I decided it is time to share them with other amigurumi lovers. I have no idea about online things, or selling things and quite nervous about if people will like my toys...I have to wait and see I guess.. Here is my shop banner my beloved sister-in-law Yonca made for my shop

And here is my shop link if you want to have a look; http://www.etsy.com/shop/ToyzandDollz?ref=si_shop

Amigurumi Ballerina Sue

Her name is Sue and she is made with my own pattern and lots of love. Next project should be making a best friend both to test the pattern and to give Sue some company for bale lessons! I like how she is able to pose, thanks to her loong limbs. Although my boys insisted that she sould have a mouth, I prefered the abstract look on her face. I hope you find her as adorable as I do..

amigurumi dinosaurs

To be honest I am more of a doll person, I have always been and I will always be.  Making dolls = makes me happy! Planning the doll, designing the hair and sewing the clothes is all so much fun there is so much place for creativity! But as a mother of two boys, I receive a list of boyish toy demands everyday:) One of these wishes came true recently, 2 dinosaurs to be taken to bed, to be thrown to each other, to be carried around after watching Dino Dan! Meet the newest members of our family life, DeÄŸiÅŸikrenk and KaçboÄŸazinek (Differentcolor and howmuchthroatcow!?  in Turkish) Wannabe 3 years old again or just to buy that imagination!

Amigurumi Elmo

I used to love Elmo, and luckily my boys had a chance to meet him by an Elmo's World CD, when comparing to the recent cartoons and characters made for 3-6 year olds I can easily claim that Elmo still rocks! Since my boy was  in love with him he kept on demanding an Elmo toy and unfortunately I was'nt able to find one among the new age toys. So when I met with amigurumi, it was the first thing in my to do list, Elmo ! And here is the rewarding scene, which worths it all!

amigurumi pocket doll May

Here is my very first doll try, May. I am not a goor pattern follower, I respect and appreciate all those free patterns out there and I really enjoy finding and trying them but my mind flows so differently throughout the work that I end up with a totally different design in the end, especially with the dolls, you will understand what I am talking about when you look at the pictures  below:)
This is my May
And this is Leena
http://www.jennyandteddy.com/2011/05/free-amigurumi-sweet-girl-leena-pattern/  (thank you for the pattern, it gives a good idea how to make a pocket doll, rest is upto your imagination)

house shoes for kids, actually for all!

I hate the 'put on your house shoes 'fight with kids throughout the winter, I feel like a house shoe cop, and always lose the battle since they take them off while crawling the sofa or playing on the carpet and never remember to put them on back. And slippers are even worse since they are really dangerous while running up and down the stairs, they tend to slip from their little feet, I was looking for a solution and tried some knitted ones but the appearance did not turn out the way I wanted, finally I found this pattern on internet and made a pair in less than an hour, they were really comfortable and seem cool too so the little one demanded one pair in his favorite color''green''! And the biggest boy(my love) wanted a pair too, so he got  a multi colored one since my yarn was not enough for the huge feet! He loves them, brings them everywhere with him, I believe they would be among the 3 things he would take with him if he ends up in an island! If you want to try a pair for your beloved ones or yourself, here is the pattern with wonderful explanation and a tutorial here: http://sensitivesnapdragon.blogspot.com/2011/11/boy-clog-slippers-pattern.html

Dummy's dreamhouse

This is both Dummy's and my dream house and I will make it for him eventually, just not sure how to!

Little ghost

This amigurumi little ghost was made to team up with a book called ''I am not scared'' for a kindergarden classmate of my little boy. He doesn't look scary at all, does he?

amigurumi pear and apple

Pear and apple friends

amigurumi frog

One of the first gurumis I made, I liked making him a lot and I like shooting his pictures too, he is a good poser:)  and the pasttern was so simple that it took only 30 minutes to finish this little guy.
